Session Masters Hi Hats

Session Masters Hi Hats offer two setups tailored to your playing environment:

• 13" Studio: Byzantine Traditional Medium Thin top paired with a Revenge Extra Heavy bottom.
• 14" Live: Byzantine Traditional Thin top paired with a Revenge Extra Heavy bottom.

Both setups are available with a Vented bottom, featuring two vent holes in the bell to release trapped air during closure, or a Solid bottom without vent holes.

13" Studio: Sound & Feel

Vented: Optimized for high-speed patterns, fast articulation, and crisp stick definition. • WITH 2 Vent Holes (The Hyper-Responsive Combo): • Foot "Chick": Explosive, loud, and razor-sharp. The air escapes instantly, completely eliminating any sluggish foot lag. • Stick Definition: Hyper-articulated, extremely short, and tight. Ideal for complex ghost notes and micro-rhythms. • Open Wash (Slosh): Short, trashy, and highly controlled. It cuts through the mix instantly and decays immediately when closed.

Solid: Compact controlled,  Foot "Chick": Very dry, dense, and slightly muffled ("woody" or plastic-like clack) due to mild natural air-lock. • Stick Definition: Highly defined and focused, but with a stiff, rigid physical response under the stick. • Open Wash (Slosh): Tight, dark, and gritty, keeping the hi-hat exceptionally quiet and isolated from other microphones.

14" Live: Sound & Feel

Optimized for massive acoustic presence, low-mid warmth, and raw volume.
